dastardly

this guy looks like a bit of a gesbian but the finish on the jacket is genious. i want that.

"where's your permit boy?"

old soda+soy sauce+malt vinegar+jar of old peanut butter and grape jelly spread+a bit of bleach+a dousing of carpet cleaner spray+ random leftover builder's mix from outside. I was gonna leave them in it for 3 days but after 5 hours i was so shocked as to how effective the mix was that i took em out and hung them on the line.
the peanut butter, although a joke, seemed to bond well with the denim, leaving interesting stains... it'll be interesting to see the end result...

emulon sews a hefty taper

found these evidences on my phone

UPDATE

okay so after 3 months of wearing thrice weekly, 7 washes, a kind girlfriend (with sewing machine) and an alpine adventure, this is what the "where's your permit boy?" angus look jeans look a bit like the above.

FIT: i turned em inside out and marked a hefty taper to destroy the baggy look and then a kind sweet emily sewed along the lines. I markedt a carrot fit but after another wash it shrunk to a tapered slim. the ankles have an 8 inch opening which means they hug nicely when rolled up and stop flapping when i walk, at the cost of a 10 second effort when climbing into them....

COLOUR: only a ghost of the 12 ounce raw denim look remains with a fade stubbornly approaching. my long term intention is for a greyish hew as the ghastly blue is too much for me...

WEAR: i tied up the ends and filled the jeans with alpine rocks before dipping them in an alpine lake and twisting them and bashing them against alpine pines. a friend of mine took photos and a video of the process but i forgot to ask him to send them to me. maybe later. the resulting abrasions are not very visible in the photos but will most likely develop into something good...

anyhow, now i'm back in london i have a new plan: the "where's your permit boy?" mystery jeans mix (which should solve our pest problems also)...
